Now that Christmas is over I’m excited to share a project that I worked on recently. This was a gift from a daughter to her mum, for the holidays. Her mum moved to the states from Australia and missed her garden.
I took 32 source photos and composited a couple of roughs, which included 2 cats, 4 chickens and many varieties of plants. This project was a joy to work on. I’m grateful for the opportunity to work on such a unique and fun project.

Recently I was asked to do a custom BunnyDaze. It was a lot of fun creating this piece and collaboration with the grandmother who had the quote and image that she envisioned for her new granddaughter. It fit so well with the message that Bunny is all about that it practically painted itself.
This was the initial concept sketch.
This was the final watercolor illustration on 300lb fluid watercolor paper.

A friend of mine commissioned me to illustrate these original watercolors for her daughter’s first child coming this summer. It was so much FUN creating these loving scenes of elephant mommy and baby! I love thinking that a little baby will see these on his nursery wall. 🙂
This is why I love what I do.

I love creating characters. This Christmas I had fun creating these for a good friend of mine.
