My friend Kat has inspired me to explore my more traditional side of painting with watercolors. Kat and her husband Dave recently came back from Key West where she had stayed in this wonderful little house with this great view of buildings and lines out back. She was working on one of the photos as a watercolor and I asked if I could play too!
I decided not to use any pencil or erasers. This is straight pen and ink then watercolors. I like the little imperfections in line and dimensions when I’m not allowed to erase. If you know me you’d know I’m a bit of a perfectionist so this is something that doesn’t come easy for me.
